The Documentary

pPBS3-4233965dtTHE EVERLASTING STREAM is now a PBS documentary

Kentucky Educational Television (KET) produced the documentary based on Walt Harrington’s book. The film won Mr. Harrington a regional Emmy Award for script writing and was nominated for an Emmy for best documentary. The documentary was broadcast nationally on more than 150 PBS stations.

In the film, former Washington Post reporter Walt Harrington and his in-laws and friends tell stories of autumn rabbit hunts in rural Barren County, Kentucky — trips that ultimately taught Mr. Harrington valuable lessons in friendship, family, and what constitutes a “well-lived life.”
